5. Age-assurance data
- For a restricted cart, the ID number is used in memory to check its structure and confirm an encoded age of at least 18.
- We do not retain the raw ID number, encoded date of birth, a checkout document image, or an OCR transcript. We retain a keyed, one-way fingerprint, the eligibility result, consent version, timestamps, order link, and delivery-check outcome.
- Checkout-only records expire after 30 minutes. A checkout checkpoint may remain for up to 24 hours after payment begins so a verified payment callback can finish safely. Order-linked records expire after up to 30 days, and a reusable result from a successful physical delivery check after up to 365 days.
- The automated result is age assurance only. It is not Home Affairs, biometric, or official KYC verification, and the original physical ID remains required at each restricted delivery.
